It’s finally here! The new wireless headphones from Apple have launched, and they are now available in stores and online. If you’re thinking about picking up a pair of AirPods, but you also use an HP laptop, we can help you get set up in no time. Here are the steps to connect your AirPods to your HP laptop so you can start listening to your favorite songs right away!
Step 1: Download AirFly
AirFly is a free and easy-to-use app that allows you to wirelessly connect your Apple wireless headphones with your HP laptop. This is the best way of connecting them because it’s wireless, so it doesn’t need any cords or cables. You can also use AirFly on any Mac computer with an integrated Intel chipset, so if you have an older model, you can still use this application. To get started, download and install AirFly from the links at the bottom of this post. Once installed, open the program and wait for it to scan for nearby devices. It will then show all nearby devices (laptops) on a list as well as their distance from you. Choose your device then press Connect. After a few seconds, AirFly will be connected to your device and you’ll be able to make all sorts of changes like sound volume control, adjusting volume for specific programs (iTunes or Google Play Music), pausing music or video playback by simply clicking the speaker icon in the system tray area near the clock).
Step 2: Enable AirFly
In order to use your AirPods on your laptop, you’ll need to enable the ‘AirFly’ feature. This can be done by following these steps:
1) Open System Preferences and select Bluetooth.
2) In the Bluetooth menu bar, click on the + button.
3) From the list of devices shown, select Apple Wireless Headphones – AirPods.
4) Click on the checkbox next to Show this device when not connected.
5) After clicking this, you will see a small icon appear on your screen that looks like a triangle with a circle around it.
Step 3: Enjoy your wireless music experience!
The simplicity of these steps makes it easy for anyone to connect their AirPods with their laptop. One thing that’s important is ensuring your laptop has Bluetooth enabled so you can connect your wireless headphones. That might sound like a no-brainer, but there are some laptops that don’t come with Bluetooth or it might be disabled by default. If you’re not sure, consult your computer’s manual for instructions on how to enable the necessary settings and try again! Once you’ve got all of the pieces set up, simply follow these steps to successfully connect your airpods with your laptop:
Step 1: Power on the airpod case: Simply turn the power switch to on to turn on the case.
Step 2: Enable Bluetooth from your laptop: Turn Bluetooth ON from your computer. You’ll need to access either Control Panel, System Preferences, Device Manager, or go through Settings > Devices > Pair new devices.
Step 3: Select and pair your AirPods as normal: After opening up this menu, select AirPods and click pair.
